STUDY PROGRAM…
1. Biblical Hebrew (6 cr.) – Emphasis on text – Taught by Intl. Translation Consultant Robert G. Carter, M.A.
2. History, Geography, Archeology, and the Cultural Backgrounds of the Bible (4 cr.) – Eighteen days of field trips to biblically relevant sites are an integral part of the course – Taught by Dr. Halvor Ronning and Staff
3. Discourse Analysis of Biblical Hebrew (2 cr.) – Taught by consultants
4. Hebrew as a living language (8 cr.) – Emphasis on immediate
acquisition of vocabulary and long term retention (Optional)
5. Translation Workshop: Exegesis and Translation (4 cr.) – Taught by Intl. Translation Consultant Robert G. Carter, M.A.
COSTS…
• Hebrew University: $3,500 for tuition (24 cr.), incl. health insurance.
• HBT: $3,500 for room and board, transportation to and from the
university, field trips, library and Internet. Heavily subsidized.
• Total Cost: $7,000 (Does not include pocket money and books).
