ISRAEL - You are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. Deuteronomy 7:6 First and foremost: Please keep praying for real and lasting safety and security for Israelis and Palestinians on both sides of the border, and peace for Jerusalem and all of the epicenter, that the war will not spread to the North and East. (Psalm 122:6) Everlasting, Almighty God, from all the nations of the world You have chosen Israel to be Your very own. You chose them not for their numbers, as they are one of the smallest nations, but because they are dear to You; and because You love Your people, O eternal God, You cannot bear to see them in such great suffering. O God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in Heaven, we cry to You, for You are a Father. Look upon Your people, Your children. See how they are oppressed on all sides. Even when they have done no wrong, they are given the blame. Loving God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, how that must grieve Your heart, for they are Your beloved people, who are yet to be of significance to the whole world. Protect Your people, deliver them from their enemies. Make Your goodness known to them, come to their aid. Kindle in the hearts of Your people the flame of hope in the darkness now engulfing them, O Father of compassion and God of all comfort. Amen. ‘Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. ‘You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the fathers' sins into the laps of their children after them. ‘O great and powerful God, whose name is the Lord Almighty, great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds … ‘You brought your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with great terror. You gave them this land you had sworn to give their forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.'Jeremiah 32:17-22 I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.Jeremiah 31:34 O Lord our God, You see that Your people are living in fear and terror, threatened by and death. You are merciful and gracious, abounding in patience and faithfulness. That is Your nature. Do not consider the sins of Your people. See instead their suffering. Whenever You were forced to send judgment and the suffering of Your people reached a climax, Your compassion would flow over in words like: ‘I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.' O Lord, may this happen now, for how it must break Your heart to see Your people suffer. Have mercy, we pray. Amen. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8 Everlasting God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, You love Your people. When we see no solution, You have one long since planned. We know You will help Your people in a wonderful way. Israel's help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth, for whom nothing is too hard, and who has a plan for His beloved chosen people. Your people will worship You in awe when they see You fulfilling Your purposes. Though the way leads through darkness, fear and distress, You will never abandon Your beloved people. They are the apple of Your eye. You are their God and Father. You have declared, ‘I am Israel's Father' (Jeremiah 31:9; see Exodus 4:22). You will let Your people experience this again today if, in the depths of suffering, they put their trust in You. You have a great task in store for Your people, who are yet to be a blessing to all nations. Amen. I am Israel's father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son … Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him. Jeremiah 31:9, 20 O God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Your people are in deep distress, persecuted and terrorized, filled with fear and dread. We cry to You. Hear our prayer and in Your mercy remember that Israel is Your first-born son, the people You have chosen out of all the nations of the world. O Father of mercy, You cannot but send help. Israel's help comes from You, who made heaven and earth. What Your Word says will come to pass. Amen. Lord, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. 2 Chronicles 20:6 Loving God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, create in Your people the faith that You will bring them through. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Today as of old You forgive sin, and help Your people. You will not allow them to be destroyed. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, You see how Your people Israel are hated by all those who hate You. You suffer with Your people. We pray that those who try to destroy Your people will actually drive them to You. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Your people are surrounded by mortal enemies. We pray that their fear will not cast them into despair, but cause them to seek Your face in prayer. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, may You have the comfort of seeing Your people take refuge in Your heart. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, kindle in them the flame of faith by Your Spirit. In their distress help them to put their trust in You, their God, the God of Israel, who – as they know and proclaim – does miracles. Amen. You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, O Lord, have become their God. 2 Samuel 7:24 Lord, bless Israel, Your people, beloved and chosen by You out of all nations but now exposed to hatred and living in fear of death. Your heart goes out to Your people when You see the fury of those determined to destroy Israel. We now declare the words of blessing Moses once pronounced over Israel: ‘Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places.'Deuteronomy 33:29 But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15 We cry to You, eternal, almighty God. Your people, whom You love, we are desperate. We cry to You, for You are merciful. How it must grieve You to see their land turned into a battlefield. O Lord, we will persevere in prayer, clinging in faith to Your promises. ‘For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice. The Lord foils the plans of the nations; He thts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. No king is saved by the size of his army; no rior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. from Psalm 33 Lord, bless Israel, the people You love, by fulfilling Your eternal purposes for them speedily and by guiding them on to the glorious destiny You have in store for them. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love. Give them a new aeness of their calling, and help them to live up to it. Lord, bless Israel, the people you love. Keep them from feeling overwhelmed by their sufferings. May Your Spirit enkindle them to fervent prayer and repentance.Lord, bless Israel, the people You love, so that they look to You alone for peace and refuge. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love, so that in their distress they put their trust not in power and might but in You, who alone can comfort, strengthen and sustain them. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love. Give them daily the grace of repentance and faith. In these dark times let them experience miraculous instances of Your help. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love, and send them encouragement and help in all their trials. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love, and raise up among them men of God who speak with spiritual authority. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love. Help them to see the hand of God in the miraculous establishment of the modern state of Israel and the return of the Jews from many nations. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love. Help and sustain them when You have to lead them through the dark valley of suffering tods their eternal destiny. Numbers 23 and Psalms 58 Abba God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Balaam spoke a blessing over Israel instead of cursing as Balak asked him to do-You gave these words to Balaam; "No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The LORD their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them. God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. There is no sorcery against Jacob, no divination against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel, `See what God has done!' The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till he devours his prey and drinks the blood of his victims." "How beautiful are your tents, O Jacob, your dwelling places, O Israel! "Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the LORD, like cedars beside the waters. Water will flow from their buckets; their seed will have abundant water. "Their king will be greater than Agag; their kingdom will be exalted.” God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. They devour hostile nations and break their bones in pieces; with their arrows they pierce them; like a lion they crouch and lie down, like a lioness--who dares to rouse them? "May those who bless you be blessed and those who curse you be cursed!" "Your dwelling place is secure, your nest is set in a rock; yet you Kenites will be destroyed when Asshur takes you captive." "Ah, who can live when God does this? Ships will come from the shores of Kittim; they will subdue Asshur and Eber, but they too will come to ruin." A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth. Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong. A ruler will come out of Jacob and destroy the survivors of the city." Father God, I pray these same blessing over Israel once again and I ask that You honor them as You did back in Moses day. Protect Your people, O God. Protect the nation of America and United Kingdom as they take a stand against terrorism. Break the teeth in the mouth of Israel’s enemies, O God; tear out, O LORD, the fangs of the lions! Let them vanish like water that flows away; when they draw the bow, let their arrows be blunted. Like a slug melting away as it moves along, like a stillborn child, may they not see the sun. Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns -- whether they be green or dry --the wicked will be swept away. The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked. Then men will say, “Surely the righteous still are reded; surely there is a God who judges the earth." Deliver Israel from her enemies, O God; protect them from those who rise up against her. Deliver her from evildoers and save her from bloodthirsty men. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, fierce men conspire against Your people Israel for no offence and sin against them. They have done no wrong, yet Israel enemies are ready to attack them —Arise O God, to help Israel; look upon their plight, O Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel rouse Yourself to punish all the nations who come against Your people, show no mercy to the wicked traitors. The enemies snarl like dogs and spew hatred from their mouths -they spew out swords from their lips and say, “Who can come against us?” But, You, O Lord laughs at them; You scoff at all the nations. O Lord our Strength; Israel watches for You. Be their fortress, their shield and loving God -go before them into battle, save Israel with Your Right Hand of Mercy, so those You love may be delivered. Let us hear You roar, as You go to battle against Your Covenant people’s enemies. You will be a shelter and strength to Your people. May Israel, lead out with praise to their God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. May they sing the Psalms before You, giving praise to Your Greatness; Your strength; Your holiness. Praise to Yahweh, God of the Universe -praise to the Lord of lords, King of kings, as we hear the roaring of the mighty armies of the heavens going to battle for them. Arise, O Lord, do not let man prevail; let the nations be judged in Your site. Put them in fear, O Lord that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Your Word says, “Woe to you who lie awake at night plotting wickedness…” . O God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, let Israel’s adversaries be clothed with shame; and let them cover themselves with their own confusion. Destroy their plans, O Lord; confuse their tongues so that they might not communicate. I pray for Prime Minister Olmert, that You would give him wisdom, discernment, strength and courage to obey You. Let Your right hand be upon him. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I pray that Jerusalem will remain the undivided capital of Israel and I pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may all who love this city prosper, Lord. Your promises to Israel are forever, and the Bible clearly states that the nations will be judged according to their position on Israel (Joel 3) According to Your Word the present international pressure to convince Israel to give up land for peace goes directly against Your Covenant made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. O God, remind Israel of Your covenant and speak to President Bush of the USA that Your covenant is LAW- no way will You break covenant with Your people. Your promise to Israel is forever and You will never abandon her. “Remember the former things of old, for I am God and there is no other: I am God and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, “My Counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.” Set Your watchmen on the Walls, O God, may they never hold their peace day or night praying for the peace of Jerusalem and Your people Israel. May they not keep silent and give You no rest until You accomplish all You established and until You make Jerusalem the praise of the earth. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I pray for the leadership of Israel and for them to be fully prepared for any casualties. I pray, O Lord, of Host that You would defend Your people and all those who dwell in the Land. Oh, make a river in the desert, O God, cover Israel under Your wings; O Lord scatter Your enemies, O Holy One of Israel You alone are mighty to save with Your right hand. I pray for those who persecute the Jews, in thought, word, or deed. May the spirit of anti-Semitism be broken once and for all! I proclaim victory over it, O God. Your word says You are near to all who call on Your name-to all who call upon You in truth -You will fulfill the desire of those who fear You; You will also hear their cries and save them- I cry out to You, O God for the peace of Jerusalem and for Your divine will to be done on earth as it would be done in heaven. Hallelujah! Amen and Amen May You, O God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob be magnified and glorified as I lift up Your people Israel in prayer. May there be a transparency in my life that reveals the very heart of the King of kings, the LORD of lords. May I come humbly before Your Throne counting it an honor to stand before You as such a time as this. Bless Your holy name forever! Amen How infinite and complete is Your wisdom; how deep is Your love; how everlasting is Your Word! May I continue to be a vessel, which You alone can keep filling as I continue to stand in the gap for Your people Israel. Thank You, Lord, that You have put a burden on my heart for Your people. May I never fail You, in coming to Your Throne Room in intercessory pray for the Nation Israel. May You anoint me with the new oil of Your Holy Spirit! I am like an empty vessel, which needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit, as I serve the Most High God. My debt has been paid with the shed blood of my Lord and Master Jesus the Christ and I pray that I will live on the overflow, of Your Holy Spirit and that the oil will not stop flowing. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I cannot pray with power on my own, I must depend on Your Holy Spirit to empower me. I desire a continuous flow of communion with You. I pray that the oil of the Holy Spirit will keep the fire burning in my heart and the hearts of Your people Israel. I pray that Your Light will shine brightly in a world that is turning increasingly darker and that Your Light will completely overcome that darkness. May Your people lean on the Holy One of Israel for her provision and protection. “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:23-24) God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I pray that more believers will be raised up to be intercessors for Israel in these perilous days ahead. I pray for unity in the Body for the purpose of standing with Israel. May we all agree that there should be no place for anti-Semitism and Replacement Theology in Christianity. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I pray that a spirit of compromise will be bound and that the spirit of truth will set man on the straight and narrow path tod true peace concerning Israel and Palestine. I pray for unity of mind, heart and purpose in the Israeli leadership. I pray for divine wisdom and for the fear of the LORD and reverence of His holiness, will be the focal point of all their decision for Israel. I pray that the leadership will realize that military strength and man’s wisdom alone are not enough to fight future battles. I pray that they will acknowledge that the survival of Israel and the Jewish people is a spiritual battle, no physical; the battle is the Lord’s and He has the victory. I pray for the protection of Israel’s leadership, their families and for the protection of the entire community of Israel. I pray a wall of protection to surround the Jewish community in the Land. May the Lord of Host be with you. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacobr, I pray for the families who suffer from the terror attacks in Israel. I lift up all the individual families who have lost loved one; dreams have been crushed, sons and daughter have been lost, each day they wake up hoping for life and they are faced with uncertainty. Some wedding could not take place because someone may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. O, my Father, my heart grieves for these families who’s lost loved ones, but also for the ones who fear every day that it may be their son or daughter, their mother or daddy. O, comfort them in their grief, and hold them in the shadow of Your wings. Praise God, that someday You will wipe away ever tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow or crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things will have passed away! I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for Your glory to be revealed to all of Israel. O God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; there is no one but Thee who can rescue Israel. All her enemies have heard of her troubles and they are glad. O, do to them as You promised, have mercy upon Israel. O, bend Your bow against Israel’s enemies, O God. Use Your strength against them; let Your fury be poured forth like fire against them. Destroy their forts and palaces, O God with Your very breath. O God, Your people Israel weep before You. O God, do You not see their tears; they fall down upon You like a river? They pour out their hearts like water to You, O God, lifting up hands to You, pleading for their deliverance. O Lord, Israel is Your own people - Come to their rescue. The old men sit no longer in the city gates, the young no longer dance and sing. The joy of their glory is gone, the crown fallen from their head. Their hearts are faint and weary. O God, do not forsake Your people, Israel, come to their rescue. O Lord, Israel is depending on You to save them from her persecutors. Do not let them pounce upon her as a lion would and maul and drag her away with no one to rescue her. O Lord, rise up in anger against Israel’s enemies. Gather her enemies all before You; sit high above them, judging their sins. Justify Israel publicly, establish her honor and trust before them all. End all wickedness, 0 Lord, and bless all who truly worship the One true God, HaSHEM. I am pleading for Your help, O Lord. Why am I praying like this? Because I know You will answer me, O God! Yes, listen as I pray for Your people, Israel. Show her Your strong love in wonderful ways. Protect her as You would the pupil of Your eye; hide them in the shadow of Your wings as You hover over them. You will fill Israel with Your strength and protect her wherever she goes. Prepare her for battle and give her the strength to draw an iron bow. Give them the victory, my God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Accept my praise, O God for all Your glorious power, and as we open up the Ancient Gates for the King of Glory to reign in Israel. Hallelujah! Bless the Lord who is my unmovable Rock! You give me strength and skill; You are always kind and loving, You are my fortress, my tower of strength and safety, and my deliverer. You stand before me as a shield.Bend down from heaven Lord and come. The mountains smoke beneath Your touch. Let loose Your lightning bolts, Your arrows against Israel’s enemies. Look upon Israel’s enemies and scatter them. Reach down from heaven and rescue Your people, 0 God, deliver them from deep waters, from the power of her enemies. Their mouths are filled with lies; they swear to the truth of what is false. Israel will sing a new song with the ten-stringed harp for the great victory You will grant them. You are the One who will rescue Your people Israel, from her fatal wounds. Save her! Deliver her from her enemies, these liars, these treacherous men who plot to destroy Your chosen people. Israel’s sons will be vigorous and tall as growing palms; their daughters of graceful beauty, like the pillars of a palace wall. Their barns will be full to the brim with crops of every kind. Their fields will be filled with sheep by the thousands. Their oxen will be loaded down with produce, with no enemy attacking her walls, but peace everywhere. There will be no crime in her streets. Yes, happy are those who belong to Jehovah God. Israel will praise her God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and bless Your name each day and forever. Hallelujah! Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). Let the high praises of God be in our mouths and a two-edged sword in our hands (Psalm 149:6) |
